PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Prokriti Biswas, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Jahangirnagar University was born on 30, November, 1993 at Gopalganj. She completed her B.Sc. and M.S. in Mathematics from Department of Mathematics, Jahangirnagar University. She was a student of 42 batch, Sheikh Hasina Hall.
In her academic career, she secured 1st position in both B.Sc. and M.S. in Mathematics. For her excellence in Mathematics, she has been awarded with Gold Medals patronized by A F Mujibur Rahman Foundation for B.Sc. and M.S. She has been researching on numerical solution of Energy equation. She has achieved second Masters degree in Computational Applied Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom, awarded with a Commonwealth Scholarship (Open). She also got a shared Commonwealth Scholarship at Durham University for an MSc in Mathematics.
